Les Cooloriages
I have the fortunate opportunity to work alongside my cousin Fanny Duriez who is the Art Director and the original concept creator of Les Cooloriages an innovative brand which creates an interactive sound and colouring poster for children about the Opal Coast. The final product contains a large poster to spend time colouring while listening to an immersive story about an Opal Coast town (Côte d'Opale), the poster is also easy to frame.
The original stories have been created by a super creative teacher who loves to use his background experience of storytelling with his students. The sounds and music that accompany the poster have been created and produced by a knowledgeable Sound Director and Fanny herself performs all the characters' voices in the piece! Currently there are 2 editions of Cooloriages that are out including one on Calais and one about the Opal Coast. We also developed some fun colouring postcards also to go with the editions!

I have worked with Fanny to develop all illustrations and the website. We have decided to use a thick line illustration style, easy for kids to colour. I used chinese ink and brushes to develop those compositions.
But actually, where is the Opal Coast? The Côte d'Opale is a coastal region in northeastern France, in the departments of Nord and Pas-de-Calais.
